A Continued Education Course at Santa Monica College

NEW! Learn how to dive using the Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA). Gain the knowledge and develop the skills and safety practices you need in a course that combines 8 hours of in-classroom and 8 hours of in-pool training. Successful completion of the course leads to certification in the Universal Referral Program. (You will still need to take part in four open-water dives with a a qualified instructor to complete certification.) Pool dives will be held at Santa Monica High School. Purchase of personal gear (mask, fins, snorkel, and booties) highly recommended, but not required. Choose either a 4-session or 10-session course. First session held in classroom listed below; details on other locations provided at class. Materials fee $70 at class includes textbooks, dive tables, log book.
